1. At the end of your journey, collect all the rubbish that has accumulated, vacuum the carpets and seats, wash the exterior to remove some of the debris that can accumulate during the journey, especially on long journeys.
2. If you're travelling with pets, consider using seat covers or waterproof covers to make cleaning easier after the journey.
3. Avoid eating and drinking in the car, but when you do, opt for dry food and avoid food with a higher risk of soiling the car.
4. Use bottles with tightly closed lids to avoid spilling liquids in the vehicle.
5. Always carry small rubbish bags and a microfibre cloth to make cleaning easier.
6. Use the hoovers at petrol stations or car washes to remove sand, crumbs and hair.
7. Don't smoke and avoid carrying food with strong odours or very intense deodorants.
