Tips for keeping your hire car clean throughout your journey
November 20, 2024
Currently in Portugal, we know that fuel prices fluctuate wildly and can make a difference to your wallet at the end of a car trip. Therefore, you should be aware of the 4 extra tips that can help you save fuel on your next trip:
1. Use a constant speed:you should avoid strong accelerations or sudden braking during your journey. If your rental vehicle has “Cruise Control” you must use it, thus limiting your speed throughout the entire route.
2. Before starting your trip, you should look at the various gas stationsfor listed prices and note the ones closest to you at the best price at the time you need to fill your tank.
3. Avoid driving with your car on reserve, this will put you at greater risk of running out of fuel and damaging the vehicle's engine.
4. Use the air conditioning sparingly, placing it at a favorable ambient temperature so as not to put too much strain on the engine.
Enjoy the your trip in the best way and rent one of our personalized GoDrive vehicles. Travel safely!
